Catrina Smith
Catrina Smith is a consumer protection attorney representing consumers who have been the victims of credit reporting errors, identity theft and harassment from debt collection agencies. After graduating from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, Catrina immediately started helping clients as a credit attorney. She uses her experience and knowledge of consumer laws to seek justice for victims who have been wrongly disadvantaged by credit reporting agencies. creditors, and debt collectors. She has had successful outcomes in over 200 credit reporting lawsuits in federal court.
Specifically, Catrina has a passion for helping veterans who have fallen victim to predatory credit reporting and debt collection. She is well versed in the different circumstances military members and veterans face and understands the zealous advocacy necessary to help them regain their financial independence.
Catrina is active in the consumer law community. She currently serves as the state chairman for the National Association of Consumer Advocates in North Dakota and is a council member for the Minnesota State Bar Consumer and Creditor Law Section.
